Differences between emark lights and other lights

For Emark lighting product to be marketed in Europe, it must meet certain requirements in terms of safety, health and the environment. The Economic Commission for Europe has established regulations on the safety of lighting for vehicle drivers and their surroundings. For example, the directive (denoted by the letter R) specifies the amount of light, visibility, flashing frequency, and so on, for headlight, rear lights, flashing, and work lights. The E-mark is also known as the ECE. So in the European market businessmen will give priority to products with ECE certification. Local customers will also take this aspect of the certificate into account when buying. Because for consumers to use more safe and legal products, it is more comfortable and reliable for the buyer.

What are the common Emark certifications for auto light?

ECE R10: Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)

It is well known that led lights are easily affected by electromagnetic signals. If these signals are not prevented, they may interfere with devices such as car radios. So in order to avoid these problems, the product needs to be certified with ECE-R10 in order for the buyer to know that the product will suppress this signal. Other devices in the car will not be a problem.

ECE R149:Driving Light

For use on public roads, the beam emit to the front of the vehicle must have ECE-R149. LED driving lights with this type approval are equipped with lens technology that prevents glare from oncoming traffic.
